If you are participating in any type of physical activity (currently playing sports, weight lifting, cross training, any type of exercise), then one of the best ways to help your performance is an Active Recovery program.

What does that mean?

Essentially, the more you can help your body recover from the physical nature of your activity, the better you will feel.  If you can work the soreness, aches, and pains out of your body with some of the simple methods we utilize, your body will respond in kind and your next workout will be that much better.

After our workouts, we recommend to our clients to make sure you stretch to help you recover better, but let's be honest...no one really does that.  So, we have created a program that you can come in on your own time and perform all the drills you need to do to recover properly.  You can do these sessions on your off-days and it will really pay off for you in the long run.

What does this consist of?

What we have done is put together a half hour session of foam roller activation techniques (basically, self-massage), a dynamic warm-up, if you have done our Functional Movement Screen we will do corrective exercises specific to your score, and finally static stretches.  The combination of all of these will get your body limber and more flexible and recover from whatever duress you have put it under.  Click here to watch a Youtube video of some of the foam roller exercises you will be utilizing with this program.

How does this work?

  1. You fill out the sign-up form below.  Once you submit it, you will be taken to a page to complete your payment.  Costs will be given below.
  2. Once we receive a payment confirmation, we will contact you within 24 hours to get  your first session scheduled.  You will also receive instructions on how to schedule future sessions online.
  3. You will have the option of signing up for 1 or 2 Active Recovery sessions a week.  Since this is in the infancy stages, that is all we want to start you with so we can work out the kinks and see how this program goes.
  4. Your sessions will work concurrently with our training sessions.  Once we teach you how to do the exercises needed for the program (through video and our personal instruction), you will be able to show up for your scheduled time and just get started and pretty much do it on your own with us looking on making sure everything is correct.
  5. Right now the times will be pretty much after school/work times, M-F (with a few modified times) and Saturday mornings.
  6. That is it.

This isn't an advanced program, it is a simple program that I want you to be able to utilize and take advantage of.  The hardest part for people will be to schedule their session times.  Other than that, it is as simple as come up at your designated time, spend 30 minutes doing these exercises, and leave.

When will this start?

We will officially kickoff the program on Monday, October 3, 2011.  You can start at any time and cancel at any time.  If you want to start prior to October 3, we won't have the scheduling set up until then, but we can manually schedule you a session and get you going.

What will this cost?

You will pay for a month's time.  The date we receive payment will be the date your time starts.  A month from there you are done or will continue on with another month's worth of services.  No makeup time for vacation or anything like that.  Straight month.

  • Once a week for one month - $70, or $60 for recurring billing
  • Twice a week for one month - $99, or $89 for recurring billing

You will pay for whichever option you choose after you submit the form below.  You will be taken to a page that will have 4 payment links.  Just choose the payment you want to do and the link will immediately take you to Paypal to complete payment.  That is the only way to pay.  If we do not receive a confirmation, then you can't start the program.
